Our unique large document plat archiving service began with a basic need of our parent company, New Atlas dot Com, Inc. It has always been a struggle to find sources for obtaining subdivision plat information. As a leading cartography company, New Atlas dot Com, Inc. is constantly needing new and old subdivision information for confirmation and research purposes. There has always been a gap in easily obtaining this information from their respective county agencies. Since most counties do not have large budgets, these large format documents are still largely maintained in boxes or hanging files. Staffs in the county offices express frustration at the massive task of keeping up with and storing these documents. The biggest need we had was being able to "find" the right document. Every agency we dealt with had tremendous difficulty in finding the correct document. In most cases, the only way to find the document was to refer to a file name. If you don't know the file name you can spend hours trying to find the correct file. By embedding data into the document and indexing the group of documents, our service makes finding any document simple. Based upon an Internet style search engine any document can be found in seconds, not hours or days. |
