Jack began his career as an options trader at the Chicago Board of Trade after graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Economics. His early career included treasury and equities’ volatility modeling and market making in the trading pits. He spent the last year of his trading career analyzing commercial real estate opportunities while trading, and he made the full transition to commercial real estate in 2013.
Jack started at 33 Realty where he learned the basics of property management, leasing, and multi-family brokerage. He then worked at Quantum Real Estate Advisors where he focused on national credit tenant retail and industrial product.
Jack then moved to Raleigh to capture commercial opportunities in one of the fastest-growing markets in the country. Recently, he worked as Vice President at Colliers International Raleigh focusing on retail and industrial advisory services. He joined the City Plat team and will help advise clients’ acquisition, disposition, and investment needs in the retail, industrial/flex spaces.
He is married to his wife, Elizabeth, and they have three young daughters.
