Sam Keefer has lived in The Triangle since 2019, and has been investing in local real estate since 2020. Sam is interested in cultivating long-term relationships with his clients, and, along with partners, is growing his portfolio of value-add retail and industrial property.
Prior to his time at CityPlat, Sam developed his skills in negotiation, customer service, and problem solving as a tech sales executive at Nutanix. In this capacity he was named the company’s top sales development rep three quarters in a row, and was chosen to manage various Fortune 500 accounts (such as NBC, JetBlue, Conde Nast and Related Partners).
Today, Sam owns and manages several investment properties, creatively improving net operating income and growing investors’ equity. Education is at the crux of Sam’s business philosophy. He is an active member of the real estate investing community; as such, he frequently visits local investor meet-ups and CCIM chapters, and meets with property owners and operators.
Sam’s specialties include: buying/selling/leasing retail and industrial properties; relationship-building; raising investment capital; investment property acquisition & operation experience; as well as cultivating and maintaining a large local network (business & personal).
Sam also has over 20 years of competitive tennis experience, both as a D1 athlete at UMBC, and as a tennis pro in Southern California. After work you can find him at Raleigh Racquet Club.
