Jonathan W. Anderson (Jon) is a Raleigh native and magna cum laude graduate of the Wake Forest School of Law. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Jon attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill graduating with honors in 2005. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Italian after studying abroad in Florence at the Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute. Jon is also currently enrolled in the executive LLM program on taxation at the New York University School of Law.
Jon has a wide range of experience in the field of real estate, representing clients large and small. He began his career working at a large law firm that represented a national retailer in its acquisition of property. He also worked at the North Carolina Real Estate Commission, as a law clerk, assisting in the regulation of real estate brokerage. Over his career, Jon represented entrepreneurs, small business owners, investors, home builders and developers in various real estate projects from simple acquisitions to complex syndications. He has served as general counsel to the Triangle Greenways Council advising on matters related to real estate acquisition, regulatory compliance, and other charitable pursuits. Jon remains involved with Triangle Greenways as a board member and advisor on issues involving property acquisition and conservation. In his spare time, Jon enjoys hiking, jogging, playing chess, and spending time with his wife and son.
